Chris Cote of Transworld Surf reports on the awards ceremony and all the glory…

The last checkpoint Challenge of the Cali Rally! The teams were plummeted in the gauntlet by the Captiola Junior Lifeguards with water ballons and man were they fierce.  Lukily the Lost team ended up surviving the treacherous task and taking a win home for their team.

Two hours, Four Lost surfers, & Hollywood Magic…

And the winner is…Team Volcom!!!!

Venice Beach’s boardwalk served up as the next stop on Cali Rally.  Mikey G slid in on his board to take the win for Volcom. The competition was fierce, but human dumb-bell lifts, handstands on boards, and pants extreme sagging might have been the more fun.

Volcom was up next to sell in PacSun stores, and the team was definitely running a muck in Fashion Island. Nate Tyler even tried to sell some Canadians on some gear.

The teams headed out to the OC for their next challenge where bruises, scraped knees, and injured tailbones were what made you cool on the BMX course at the YMCA in Orange.

Tommy “The Flyin’ Floridian” O’Brien took the lead and won for team Billabong taking out Scotty Stopnik in 2nd, and Turkey Stopnik (filling in for an injured Peter Devries) in 3rd.
