Even though we don’t know who the 2008 USA Champions are yet, there’s now a pretty good sense of who will make the new PacSun USA Surf Team.
Kolohe Andino threw down the highest heat score of the entire USA Championships on Friday. But, perhaps, (insert winner’s name here) was the real performer of the day.
Thursday saw a hotbed of teenage interaction at the SIMA Surfing America USA Championships presented by PacSun. The Under 18 and Under 16 Boys were already knee-deep in the second round but just as they finished blowing up on the small peaks at Huntington Beach, the girls showed up…

The NSSA Nationals, traditionally held at Lowers, known more famously as Trestles, in Orange County, California; is the junior competition that introduces future world champions to their competition. This past weekend, both grom and Trestles delivered with spectactular conditions and honed determination for the Governor’s Cup title. We are proud to note the PacSun USA Surf Team past and present members peppered throughout the ranks in all categories!
